How do I know which cycle size is right for me or my child?

Sizing is crucial for a comfortable ride. On every product page, we have a detailed Size Guide based on rider height. As a general rule:

Kids (Age 3-8): 14-inch to 20-inch wheels.
Juniors (Age 8-12): 24-inch wheels.
Adults (Height 5''0" - 5''7"): 26-inch or 27.5-inch wheels.
Adults (Height 5''8" and above): 27.5-inch or 29-inch wheels.

Should I buy an MTB (Mountain Bike) or a Hybrid cycle?

If you plan to ride primarily on rough terrains, dirt trails, or pothole-heavy roads, an MTB with wider tires and strong suspension is your best bet. If you commute on city roads, highways, or paved paths and want a faster, smoother ride, a Hybrid cycle (which combines the speed of a road bike with the comfort of an MTB) is ideal.

Gear vs. Non-Gear: Which one should I choose?

For flat city roads and short-distance commutes, a Single Speed (Non-Gear) cycle is low-maintenance and perfect. If you ride on hilly terrains, flyovers, or plan to go on long-distance weekend rides, a Geared cycle will help you pedal efficiently without exhausting your legs.

Do I need a license or RTO registration to ride an XCI electric cycle?

No! Our electric cycles are classified as low-speed electric two-wheelers (top speed capped at 25 km/hr) with a 250W BLDC motor. Under Indian law, you do not need a driving license, RTO registration, or insurance to ride them.

What is the range of an XCI electric cycle on a single charge?

The range depends on the model, battery capacity, and how you ride. On average, our e-bikes deliver:

Throttle Only Mode: 25 to 35 km per charge.
Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): 40 to 60+ km per charge.

Note: Range can vary based on rider weight, incline, and road conditions.

How long does it take to fully charge the battery, and how do I charge it?

It typically takes 3 to 4 hours to fully charge the battery from 0 to 100%. You can plug the provided smart charger into any standard 5A home wall socket, just like your smartphone or laptop. Some of our models also feature detachable batteries, so you can easily take the battery inside your home or office to charge.

Can I ride my electric cycle in the rain?

Yes! The battery, motor, and controller on XCI electric cycles are IP-rated (water and dust resistant). They are perfectly safe to ride in light to moderate Indian monsoons. However, avoid submerging the cycle in deep waterlogged streets or pressure-washing the electrical components.

Will my cycle be delivered fully assembled?

To ensure safe transit across India, your cycle will arrive 85% to 90% assembled in a secure box. The main frame, rear wheel, and gears are pre-fitted. You will only need to attach the front wheel, pedals, handlebar, and seat. We provide a basic tool kit and a step-by-step video guide to help you assemble it in 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can have a local cycle mechanic assemble it for a minimal charge.

How long will it take for my order to reach me?

We dispatch orders within 24-48 hours. Depending on your pin code:

Metro Cities: 5 to 6 working days.
Tier 2/3 Cities & Rest of India: 7 to 9 working days.

You will receive a tracking link via email/SMS as soon as your order is shipped.

Do you charge for shipping?

We offer Free Standard Shipping across most pin codes in India! For a few remote locations, a nominal shipping fee may apply, which will be calculated at checkout.

Will you deliver my cycle to the 3rd floor if my building doesn't have a lift?

Yes! We always strive to provide doorstep delivery. If your building does not have a lift, we can arrange for the cycle box to be brought up to the 3rd floor, provided the staircase is wide enough and the delivery can be managed safely. Please note that this is subject to the on-ground delivery team''s assessment to ensure both their safety and the secure handling of your cycle.

Do you provide home assembly for the cycles?

Yes, we absolutely do! We offer a specialized home assembly service called XCI Doctor. You can easily add this service to your cart at the time of purchase, and our expert bicycle technician will visit your home after delivery to fully assemble your cycle so it is 100% ready to ride.

What exactly is included in the 'XCI Doctor' service?

Since our cycles are shipped 85% to 90% pre-assembled to ensure safe transit, the XCI Doctor service takes care of the rest. The technician will handle unboxing, attaching the front wheel, pedals, handlebar, and seat, along with brake alignment, gear tuning, tire inflation, and a final safety check.

How do I book XCI Doctor, and what are the charges?

You can select the XCI Doctor add-on directly from the product page or during checkout. This professional home setup service is available at a nominal fee of Rs. 799.

How soon will the XCI Doctor technician visit my home after delivery?

Once our logistics partner marks your cycle as delivered, our team automatically initiates the service request. An XCI Doctor technician will contact you to schedule a convenient time, typically visiting your home within 24 to 48 hours of delivery. You don''t even need to open the box before they arrive - they will handle everything!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major secure payment methods in India, including UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and Net Banking.

Can I buy a cycle on EMI?

What is the warranty policy on XCI cycles?

We stand by the world-class engineering and build quality of our cycles. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only across our entire range of products. Please note that physical damage, accidental impacts, external wear-and-tear, or damage caused by improper usage are strictly not covered under our warranty policy. How do I get my warranty card / certificate?

To receive your official digital warranty certificate, you simply need to register your product online. Once you complete the quick registration process on our website, the warranty certificate will be automatically generated and sent directly to your registered email address.

What if my cycle arrives damaged or has a defect?

Every XCI cycle is securely packed in heavy-duty transit boxes to ensure it reaches you safely. However, in the rare event of an issue during shipping, we have a hassle-free resolution process.

We strongly recommend recording a quick unboxing video when you open your package. If you notice any transit damage, defect, or missing items, simply share the video and clear photos with our support team within 48 hours of delivery.

Our technical team will quickly assess the situation and promptly dispatch the required replacement parts. If the issue is severe, we will arrange a complete exchange at absolutely no extra cost to you.

Can I return or replace my cycle after I have used or ridden it?

No. To maintain the highest standards of quality and safety for all our customers, we strictly do not accept returns or offer replacements for products once they have been assembled, used, or ridden.

We highly recommend inspecting your cycle thoroughly upon delivery and during the unboxing process. If you spot any manufacturing defect or transit damage before use, please report it to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Can I cancel or modify my order once it has been placed?

We process orders rapidly to ensure you get your new ride as quickly as possible! Order cancellations are strictly not allowed once an order is successfully placed on our website.
